what the hell. i just bought this game, freshly downloaded..i fire it up excited to melt my pc. and nothing. i cant even get anywhere. the game starts up and then immediately throws up that error.

any ideas? i already tried repairing the install to no avail.

never mind. i had to install the latest directX. just forced it through far cry 3.
