Crysis Artifacting?

I just started getting some major graphics freak out at the end of crysis, when you get out of the cave and into the cold, it keeps freaking out, screen kinda fractures and lags out and stuff, I take it that its not supposed to do that?

That part of the Game will lag bad. try turning the ice shaders down in the autoexec.cfg

yeah i turned the graphics down to medium, I thought my gfx card was mega screwed then lol. It was crazy, like when you get colour static in films when the video feed goed down, like that

Is it normal for parts of the background terrain to be flcikering white, like some of the trees in the distance, is this a known bug or is my gfx screwed

ya i got alot of weird lagg and bugs towards the end of the game im pretty sure its the game itself

Yeah, it's just the game. It seems like it gets worse and worse as it goes on.
