Finally downloaded this game everyone talks about Crysis (Demo version).
I just replaced my 6600gt card w/ the 9600gt.

Nothing OC'd, all stock.
Turned on Fraps

Loaded Crysis and loaded these settings:

Since my monitor suxs:
Resolution 1280x1024 @ 60hz
9600gt - stock / no oc'ing
Crysis - advance settings all set to "HIGH"

Game played @ about 35 by fraps. Not sure if this is good, but no lag or folds. It ran really good and seem'd like a fun game also.

Is this what I should expect or can I see more out of the card to say WoW by OC'ing?

I just found out there are two Crysis games, I am not sure which one I was playing, but it starts off where I jumped out of a plane and was sky diving and landed on a Island.

Yeah I get about 35 FPS on all high. A little less when there is a lot going on at once though, but I manage. I'm adding 2gb of RAM to my rig this weekend though (and Vista x64), so I can't wait to see how the performance changes.

And yes, you are playing the first Crysis (not Crysis Warhead, the newer one).

LoL, crysis 1. That is by far the best game. Don't bother with the expansion pack. Waste of time and money.
