Can someone tell me how to write a script that can throw a nade with the click of the side mouse button on my G5?

Would it be something like:

Code:
Code:
alias +nadescript "<command>"
alias -nadescript "<command>"

bind "MOUSE4" "+nadescript"
Also, what is the name for the side button on the G5? Would it be MOUSE4? Also, for the commands, would it be something like "press 4, then press MOUSE1" (whatever the command would be for that)

Thanks for any help.

Also, I know some scripts are disabled, but this one wouldn't be would it?

Thanks!!!

well.... first u need it to go to the category 4... wait wait wait wait wait then +fire - fire category 1.....

no, none of the scripts are disabled

im not sure how the g5 works, but with my copperhead i use the driver control to assign what i want the buttons as

ur gonna need to put in a lot of waits.... and it wont work well.. its better off just playing the game the way its supposed to be

is hitting '4' then left click that difficult?

I have the G7 which is the same layout as the G5 and the side button isn't anything except what you configure it to be in the Logitech SetPoint program

When you say it won't work well, what does that mean? When I click it it won't even throw half the time?

But no, it's not hard, but it would be faster if I could just press a button and *bam* throws a nade.

Well it will actually take the same amount of time for you to throw a nade with that setup as it would if you just pulled it out and threw it. Plus scripting two in game actions to a single button isn't possible. They had lots of problems in CS 1.6 with people creating scripts that let them have two fire buttons and things of the nature so the functionality was cut back severely.

No, I know you can script two in-game actions, because I've seen tutorials like one on here where their example is a script that makes you run forward, jump, quickswitch, then flash the flashlight on and off.

I stand corrected. I still don't think that you should create a script that does that. I consider it cheating but I guess people are going to do it regardless.

Meh... I looked around and the only scripts I see are these long complicated ones that have a bunch of other functions, and may or may not work, I never tried. I only found one that was supposed to do what I wanted, and I tried it, but it didn't work
(at least in CS 1.6, didn't try Source)

Oh well, unless someone posts one that they are pretty sure works then that's ok I'll pass on this.
