The Mac Pro is coming this Fall. And guess what? It's 100% Made in the USA.
Source.

So, made in the US, smaller than a current Mac Pro, PCIe SSD, two AMD GPUs and a 12 threaded Xeon I imagine.

i want to see the insides.

They didnt really say if the GPUs, HDDs, etc are easily upgradeable like the old Mac Pro.

I feel like it's a super powered mac mini..

Lol seriously. Not dogging on Apple specifically, as tons of companies say this, but basically everything is done overseas and then "assembled" here (which could literally just be them placing the final component on the device).

Glad for AMD though, any business is good business for them.

Next generation Intel Xeon E5 processors with up to 12 core configurations deliver double the floating point performance. With two AMD FirePro workstation-class GPUs, the all-new Mac Pro is up to 2.5 times faster than the current Mac Pro and delivers up to an amazing 7 teraflops of compute power. The new Mac Pro also features PCIe-based flash storage that is up to 10 times faster than conventional desktop hard drives and includes the latest four-channel ECC DDR3 memory running at 1866 MHz to deliver up to 60GBps of memory bandwidth.* With all that power, the new Mac Pro lets you seamlessly edit full-resolution 4K video while simultaneously rendering effects in the background.

Yeah, I had a bit of a head scratch moment there.

Even if he is taking about the controller and / or interface it is still doubtful. I wonder if it is bootable...

From memory that doesn't sound like an exact quote. I believe he was talking about flash Apple have used or have made (they do own a flash company called Anobit now, so who knows). I could be remembering incorrectly though.
