I currently have a XFX ATI 6950 Reference Card in my system (not unlocked) and am looking to add another reference card to my system. Does anyone know where I can find a list of the 6950 Reference cards that are available for purchase today? Every card that I see lately on Newegg is non-reference.

I understand that if I'm going to use Crossfire that two identical cards are the ideal way to go.

Thanks for your input!

might sound low tech but i usually just google the card and use the "shopping" option. it will give you the stores nearest your area as well as websites that sell those stuff.

Here are some reference 6970's if you choose this way.

The XFX one is $50 cheaper (with rebate, but I've done rebates with XFX before, they hold through) then the HIS one.
come on w/ that he get a HD 7870 which outpeforms HD 6970 w/o too much OCing

But then he'd have to get rid of his current 6950, and 2 6950's (or 6970's if you clock them high enough), it would EASILY out perform a single 7870.

I did that and came up with nothing. Everyone shows it discontinued or out of stock.

That's why I asked here.

I don't think so, I'd really prefer an exact match if at possible.

Thank you for the links, LRod. This is way I may have to go.

Yes, I thought about just buying the latest/greatest 7970, but that is why I bought this 6950 - it was the best at the time. I was hoping I could just add another 6950 a year down the road (cheaper...) and I would be in a good spot, but I can't find them available retail. I did see a couple of cards on eBay that I may consider, too. It is good to have options.
