Hey guys,

My R9 270X died a few months ago and I'm using it underclocked from 1080MHz to 1030MHz, so it boots and does 3d stuff, but occasionaly crashes. Time to get a new one.

I was looking at 3 models, GTX960, GTX970, and R9 380x.

In my country, I can get the Gigabyte G1 models for 210, 310 and 235EUR respectively.

I can wait for the new cards to pop out but I doubt they will be cheaper. I was to go for 960 because the image on NVIDIA seems a bit better in my oppinion, but I think the 960 can't handle 60FPS in some games. 970 was the next choice, but it's a 100EUR more which I'm thinking to invest in a newer CPU (Currently it's a FX8320 OC'd to 4.3GHz, used to be 4.8GHz before Sabertooth died).

Any suggestions? Anyone owned a GTX960 and a R9 380X maybe? I'd like to know if it's just my sight or NVidia really has better imagery.

Thanks guys!

Hey,

Here in Serbia I can't find new 290s, only 300 series are on stock. Even in nearby countries it's impossible to get ones that aren't used, and I prefer to buy new hardware.

Any other options?
