Specs:
- screens: main 1x N150U3-L06 (DD-IPS) + sides 2x IDTECH ITUX97E (TN) (each 1600x1200 UXGA)
- total res - 3600x1600 - 20,25 : 1 ratio (almost 21:9)
- controllers - universal from ebay x3
- screen area dimensions (with middle bezels) 714x307mm (for compare dell U2913WM ~673x284mm)
- total dimensions 724x320mm (dell U2913WM - 700x317mm)
- power consumption - 30W (powered by 12V - brick or just from PSU molex) like that LCD connected via 12V molex





2x15 + 23" eizo










I am waiting for third controller for lcd and thats it

Can you share the part number for the controller? I think I want to do this ! I can piecemeal this instead of getting nagged to death by the wife for buying a whole monitor.

I am so doing this. That is fantastic! As Awaz said, can you share the model number of the controller? I am having trouble finding one.

Wow... just wow. $250 for a higher res than $1000 will get you from Dell.

Type LVDS controller on ebay. It cost about 32-33$ with cables complete kit (controller + inverter + mini keyboard for changings monitor settings + cables, only without PSU but as I write before you can ower it directly from PSU molex connector

amazon.com is where i get a lot of laptop lcd replacements when i fix random peoples broke junk
you tend to spend around 70 - 120 for a 17"
never even dawned on me to make my own monitor out of them.
following this thread like a stalker!

nice work wonder if thiers anyway to remove the bezels to make it look exacty like 1 lcd if you could you probly could sell these on ebay for a good amount.

beautifull. i feel this is how the future should go for consumers. i would pay an extra 20 percent just to be able to totally customize my setup and mix and match.

glossy matte height adjust size ratio dpi tn va ips backlight strobing ...etc to each his own. next monitor i'm looking to do some DIY as well. hope i dont get lazy
