I have this case here.

It has this big cut out metal design on the side, that I think sucks. I'd much rather have just a big clear window. I can remove the acrylic to get at the metal and I want to cut off the design, making simple right angle corners. The metal is only about 1mm thick. What's the best thing to cut with? Tin snips and a file?
