Okay, so I got a new Swiftech variable D5.
I have a slow build, so I won't get the pump going in the loop any time soon.
But I tried my pump in the sink with a coupke of cut tubes.
I was actually happy with the pump as it's even more quiet than my other D5. I'm guessing the impeller is more balanced on this one. My other D5 is also a Swiftech.....luck of the draw I guess
But I wanted to test my flow meters today, as well as testing the pump's flow with varied restriction levels.
But as I turn the pump above setting 3, it keeps stopping and slowly restarting. No air in the line, that's not the issue.
Anybody else has seen this problem of the pump stopping, and restaring? It almost sounds like the power is switched off and slowly voltage slipped in again.
I don't know if I should RMA it or not.
