This is a funny article, not only did it call her fat but now some want an 18+ label on it.

Well at least it doesn't sugar coat things.

If you're fat, you're fat.
well if you know how BMI works it is not that correct. My friend is just a solid build, he is like 6'3'' and 240 pounds but he doesnt have fat its all muscle, and it says he is obese. They don't take into account a lot of things and espcially for a kid, they don't go down to that age.
What's a stone? 20 lbs? 120 lb at 4'9" is chubby.

It may be blunt, but hey, the world needs more bluntness.
the truth hurts sometimes...
If wii fit told me i was FAT! i wouldn't care. I'd actually laugh.
Saying that though, at that age and girls are alot more sensitive about their weight
but it's one of those things, games + news always bad news.
HAHA .. that is a comical article. Some people are so sensitive to certain words, would those people rather the wii call them "overweight or obese" ? People need to learn not to be so offended by the truth especially if it is not meant in a malicous way. What does the father mean when he said "she weighs only six stone" I guessing 60 lbs ?
lol a couple of months back, it would have told me that i was going to die. i was 5'11" and weighed about 51kg haha
A stone is 14 pounds, so she weighs 84 pounds or so.
Dont Try to Sugar coat it, cuz you'll eat that too.

though I'd take that game away from her, before she develops some sort of eating disorder...

They fear the game could damage children's body image and called on the company to warn parents it is not suitable for their offspring.

No, remaining FAT will damage that.

hiding the fact from your kids that they need to watch their weight is damaging. Although when talking about overall HEALTH your BMI is much more telling than weight.

I'm roughly 6 stone but 6'1", I'm classed as anorexic. (Stupid Metabolism)

Hey, if shes fat, shes fat, don't pretend otherwise, make that girl lose some weight!

Yes if you were 85lbs at 6'1 you would be amazingly anorexic, seeing as I weigh twice that, am 5'11 and not fat at all.

If hurting their feelings means saving their lives, then what's the big deal anyway.
Everyone should buy one of those body fat scales that measures your fat percentage its not super accurate but it gives a more solid picture of fat on the body. This article reminds me of the kids that sued Mcdonalds for making them fat because they ate their food.
Man I would hate to see what it would say if I stepped on it. I bet it would come up "error"
