Now its my turn to complain my ambient temp is 35ºC my VGA's are very hot GTX470 85ºC 8800GTX 74ºC this is just too much heat in my room i will sell the GTX and get a GELID Icy Vision for the GTX470 maybe not fold 24/7 for a while... I am cooking here....

your 470 shouldnt get that hot...
even overclocked mine does not get over 70, do you have the fan turned up?

1550MHZ shader at 1.050v folding 24/7 fan at 80% and my AMBIENT temp is 35/36ºC so its normal

Thats insane! I wouldnt be able to stay in that room, open a window. Thats a good idea sell that 470.

Sell the 8800GTX, get a fan or cheap AC unit or something, and continue folding 24/7.

I will sell the 8800GTX it consumes a lot for what it does, i have my window full open and its very hot in Portugal now (Lisbon) will get a Icy Vision for the GTX470 or WC maybe will see.

right now the temp in my room is 31.3C. so i only fold at night. and with temps to rise here even more for the next few days my rigs will be completely shut down

In the current UK heat, I've had to forbid myself from using my laptop, as I'll fry it like I did my old Acer last year. I've locked it in the loft to stop temptation. Plus it gives me chance to use my sigrig even more
