That's pretty average. I got 79C before i broke my Stock HSF. hahaha, i broke it about 4 hours ago. I hate the HSf interface of LGA775, it sucks i reckon.

so I dont need to buy a cooling kit or something like that? Should I put the extra fan that I have under the Hard Drive for ventialation or no?

since u wanna keep northwoods under 55, u should get a better hs/f, and maybe a nother case fan for ventilation. that should hel alot....proper cooling should be around 45

What are your case temps? as a rule of thumb, IMO, your case temps shouldn't run any more than 5-7 degrees higher than your room ambient temps. if they do, you need more air circulating in your case, thats my opinion. My case temps don't go over 7c degrees above my room temp, even at load.
