For those interested in seeing what Darkfall looks like. Most of these screenshots are maximum settings, aside from high on shadows. Most of the newer screenshots are 4xAA, and the older are 0xAA. Enjoy
I hate people that only care about graphics for games. What ever happened to quality of gameplay? Darkfall is probably going to be awesome. Does anyone know when the North American version is going to be released?

I can't believe people are giving Darkfall such a hard time on graphics. Do you remember how bad AoC performed? Let me remind you this is an MMOPVPRPG. Massively Multiplayer Online Player Versus Player Role Playing Game. How can you fight a massive amount of players when you have 5 fps?
Also let me remind you that Adventurine isn't EA or Blizzard. They're a very small company based in Greece that has no funding from a large corporation. They're doing a wonderful job with the resources they have.
I'll go ahead and warn everyone who is reading this and thinking about playing it. Think twice. I guarantee there are only a select few on these boards that can roll in Darkfall and appreciate the game for what Adventurine is trying to do. Go back to your Everquest clones.
It doesn't look that bad, but in all honesty, it does seem a bit out dated. Those look the same as the upgraded DAOC graphics. I think EQ2s graphics are more appealing, but who cares about graphics in an MMO?
I used to play ultima online. The best part was looting some good gear off of some other player and wearing it or destroying it in front of them. Might give this game a try if it is anything like UO used to be.
This is the only game I've played to deliver what UO did. This game is a much longer skill grind, but that doesn't hold you back from pvp.
The client side performance is the best for any near launch MMO I've ever played. The server side performance has started to show more and more sync issues with the server clusters, but that is Adventurine's top priority right now.
The gameplay will not appeal to many, but to the ones that have been waiting for a game like this, they'll fall in love.
Community? This game is pure warfare. You have your friends, and you have your enemies. Anyone can be attacked at any time. Anyone can be completely looted no matter who killed them. The only "community" would be your clan, your allies, and your race if you choose to stay aligned with them.
