Remember the Asus one seems to need a Crossfire card, while the other brands X1950 Pro's do not need a crossfire card to run crossfire. That's probably why it's cheaper.

What are you talking about? The card has the new internal Crossfire link on it now meaning it doesn't need a master card. Oh, and Jazino VIVO stands for Video in Video out. If you don't record stuff from an external location then this feature is useless.

actually he is right, this card doesnt have the internal crossfire ability nor does it have vivo, it has asus splendid and if you want to crossfire them youll need an asus master card, hence the price.

Look here.

Obviously there is an internal Crossfire connection. Why would there need to be a master card with this present? Unless we can now mix and match card which would be news to me

actually you are right, i read that there was a master card elsewhere but it looks as if there is a crossfire version that comes with both of the interconnectors instead of one with each card as it is supposed to be. if you look at the accessories you see no interconnector in this asus card package.

Regardless, only a small percent of people are buying this for crossfire anyway. This is still a crazy deal!
