hmmm.... so no pcie, so that means no gpu folding. and it cant play crysis. How many people on this forum have a server and would benefit from this?
Would be nice to have if it supported 5400 Quads.

does support pci-e thru the Riser @8x bandwidth. now how many you could run off that riser im not sure yet as im still looking into that.

Edit: from what i can gather from intels crappy pdf files on this board, the riser card {optinal} will support 1 PCI-E x4 full height and 1 PCI-E x4 low profile.

so in theroy you could run 2 gpus for folding in this thing.

I have a 5430 that was burning a hole in my pocket. NOW finally, I have a use... All I need now is:

1. Bunch of HDDs
2. Server chassis with hot swappable drive bays
3. Redundant dual PSU
4. Decent cooler
5. 8600GT (PCIe 8x)
6. A monitor
7. New keyboard and mouse
8. Windows Server 2007

WTH? This is gonna cost me a small fortune!
Appears they are out of stock now since it says stock status 3-5 weeks.
