Don't get that blue orb. Get a http://www.frozencpu.com/products/88...l?tl=g40c14s52 or a http://www.frozencpu.com/products/75...l?tl=g40c14s52

You will be very happy with a TRUE or Megahalem there is cheaper places to get them so look around. Also make sure it will fit in your case or on your motherboard

well those are both above his set price limit, for sub 60, i would pick the dark knight as the mugen 2 is most likely too big for your case
(aerocool is not very big in wide cases
)

please keep in mind for a megahalems you will need to buy extra fans.. goes up in budget

Dark Knight or a MUGEN 2, since you have a dual core.

Go big or go gnome that's what I say.

Check out my air cooling guide for good air coolers. By the way, all of those coolers are the same hight so if one wouldn't fit, they all wouldn't fit(they all support 120mm fans.

Mugen 2 is a good buy for the money. Definitely the best price/performance ratio.

If none of these coolers fit, I would suggest this. It has been benched and performs quite well compared to other more expensive heatsinks and it will fit in most small cases.
in that price range I say mugen 2 as well, and a decent fan to go on it. Otherwise, maybe a used cooler on here will get you something nicer for the funds you have.

i wouldnt recommend a mega to a little kid that needs a toy, but thats just me
a true is kinda pricey for the op here, which is why i ended up in recommending one of my personal fav's the dark knight, mugen 2 was left aside as i believe it will be hard to fit in that case, the last aerocool case i had wasn't as wide as it could have been (also gotta remember the sheer dimensions of the mugen2, pretty big)... my 2 pennys

You can find them cheaper than where I linked and just suggestions.

Yes mugen 2 or Dark knight would be a under $60 option and a good one, but you can find a TRUE for $59.99 and it will out perform them majorly. (still need fan)

Why don't you stick to your own choices instead of criticizing mine, just a suggestion for you

If you doing some serious OC'ing than I can agree with a Mugen 2, Noctua U12P or possibly a Megatron (more $$$) but if you're not trying to break records on air-cooling, save some $$$ and invest in a Xig Dark Knight. Hell to be honest, that's a little on the overkill side (depending how high you're OC'ing). You can even invest in a Xig Nepartak ($30) or the Xig HDT SD964 ($20) & if you don't mind 92mm fans for the heatsink. FYI...the Xig HDT SD964 allows a push/pull with (2) 92mm fans. These little fellas eat moderate OC'ed dual cores for breakfast.

Look, bottom line is that the true and the megahalems are enthusiast products, not meant for people on a budget. If your on a budget, Mugen 2. It outperforms the dark knight. If you can't fit the mugen 2 for whatever reason, go with the dark knight. Nuff said.
