I need to get a replacement vid card quick here. I know the direct X 10 cards are just around the corner so I don't want to spend a whole lot right now... what is the best vid card I can get for around $100? Right now I have a 6800 ultra, will I be able to beat it for that kind of money?
thanks for your help

6800 Ultra kicks pretty much butt, so you won't be able to get any GFX that's faster than that for that money.

doubt it unless you sold the 6800 on Ebay and added that to your funds.
Tbh stick with the 6800Ultra until you want the Dx10 card

well i sold my 6800GT for 100 bucks not to long ago, so i doubt you can find a new that will be better than your ultra. just better wait it out till dx10 comes out. your card is still pretty decent

hmm. Well my vid card has been giving me trouble. I keep getting a low power warning when windows starts (even though I run a 600W PSU!) and my games have gotten choppy, which they never used to be. So hence I want a replacement... maybe I should rephrase the question: what is the cheapest card I could get on par with the 6800ultra? Cheers

May still be some type of power problem, may want to check into it. Theres really not alot on par with a 6800ultra for 100$, I seen a few 6800gs's on ebay that didn't seem like they were going to go too high, you could try your luck there.

and here is even better with 12 pipelines, gddr3, 256mb card for only $87!
