I'm curious if I should spend an extra $20 or so for better RAM timings, what kind of performance gains would you expect from C8 over C9 ( Unnoticeable I assume )?

And there would be nothing wrong with this kit with a 2500k, correct?

Can you tell me which RAM it is ? not just timming that matters, there are few other thing which matter like voltage and all

C8 you should be able to clock it 1867 pretty easily.
and also brand matters.

The difference is only noticeable in benchmarks.If you like to play around with your ram than by all means buy the cas8.

I linked the kit in the first post, and please don't suggest anything unless it's available on http://pccasegear.com.au.

Also, I just checked prices between the two Corsair kits, it's a $4 difference for C8 over C9.
