Yeah, it's an ok deal. Don't expect it to be a gamer though. You might be able to resell it for $300-400, but after shipping you probably wouldn't make much profit.

I wouldn't. PC's loose value quickly, especially if they are used.
meet up with them and wave cash in their face and offer 250 or else you walk out. if that doesn't go to plan you have a choice you could buy it but I wouldn't expect to make too much profit off it, maybe keep the monitor and try to sell the tower for 250?
