I'll get to the point.
I'm already thinking of ordering the Radeon HD 5770 512MB.
But I was wondering if there would be better options in the price range of $150 below.
I'll be pairing it with a AMD II X2 cpu.
Also I won't be playing graphic heavy games. Mainly some TF2, CSS, L4D, etc

First of all, there isn't a 512MB version of that card. They're all 1GB.

Second, for the $150 and under range, I usually recommend a 4890 (that's about as cheap as you can find them, used). However, if you don't need the extra power (with the games you listed, you won't) then the 5770 sounds like a great idea. It's a good card and has seen vast improvement since its inception because of better drivers. They can really hit some high frequencies too since they don't put off much heat.

Thanks for the suggestions, I went for the 1GB version and I'll probably end up purchasing another sometime in order to cross them since, after looking into it, they do pretty well in a crossfire.

Anyway thanks for the suggestions.
