I've been mining with two GTX 780's (first day of mining paid for the month's electricity bill, lol, don't know why or how)
I've been putting my BTC money away to put towards another video card.
I basically have the decision between a r9 270/x vs GTX 760.
Both of which are around 250$, the 270 is marked up because of miners and the 760 merely because it's Nvidia.
Basically my question is would it be a good idea to go with a 270/x over a 760, mainly due to mine capabilities.
I can get an MSI 270 for 260$
Sapphire Toxic 270x for 310$
or a Asus GTX 760 for 265$

Should I buy video card to boost my mining capabilities or go with a more capable 760 for gaming purposes.

GTX 760 is faster in everything but mining and OpenCL pretty much

If you can buy a MSI GTX 760 HAWK for R9 270 pricing, you know that if you're not mining or using OpenCL that it's GTX 760 hands down

I'm stuck with purchasing from only TigerDirect.

Now how about MSI 270 for 250$ vs Sapphire Toxic 270x for 310$
Going up really isn't worth the extra 60$, but I would have the possibility of a high over-clock and a higher hashrate.
Normal Spahhire 270x is 290$
I know the 270 can be over-clocked to a 270x but if we are talking pure hashrate/performance is it worth it?

I'm going to be downgrading from the 780 lightning to the card I choose is why I'm trying to be critical on this.
We will be mining the same except he will be using 2x lightnings and I will be using this card.
