Wow... that's impressive, lol. I was a little gunshy about my sli 460s on just 1 U2711, but I feel a lot more confident now.

you know, i really hate how they didn't make an eyefinity edition yet for the 6000 series gpu's... i really love the 6 x MiniDP ports... it is like... usb compared to serial port... this feature may even stop me from buying the 6990...

The Gtx 590 might be a better choice then the hd 6990, but we wont know till there both released

mmm, 590? there are other thoughts i have about that... i heard nvidia are power hogs, and they are still on the 2 screen band wagon? how many can you connect with out adapters?

i personally want 3 x u2711 with 2 x somethign above... i picked up the led 22" dell but i can't use it! it is trash compared to my u2711... just purely talking about viewing angles and color... i wanted it portait above my current 3... i may have to just suspend 2 x u2411 above... someday when i get lots of money...

but you have to give it up to ati for the card i have now... can make all my monitor setup dreams come true... all with a single card and no adapters...

This thread is an excellent idea. Dell is the best nobody compares.

I have the u 2410 and I love it. But I'm considering going bigger. I am thinking about buying a 3007wfpt. It is an excellent price but used. Other than size can anyone recommend it over my current ips U2410?

Thanks.

If you can afford one id go for the u3011, because it has one of the least motion blurs espcially when compared to the 3007wfpt. Here is a comparison with the U3011 and the 3008wfp:

Umh...you compare the U3011 to the 3008WFP and assuming it's the same as the 3007. FYI, the input lag on the 3007WFP-HC is among the lowest, 11.5ms if I remember correctly compare to 24ms on the U3011 so for gaming people still prefer it or the HP ZR30W over other 30".

Turbo Mode sets it to 8msish I think

I did, then I switched to a Blackwidow, which promptly broke, and I sold the replacement I got. Looking to purchase a Tenkeyless Filco in the next few days, although I do like the sidewinder. One of the best rubber domes in my eyes,

I like the feel of the keyboard aswell, but am looking to one day match them in a mechanical keyboard form. I like smooth clicking of the board and ease of use, is this related to actuation force? Ive read the OCN guide multiple times but am still not sure. So in that case should I look at blacks/reds/torpe? I was thinking the deck 82 as it was backlit, and perfect size for gaming, or a cherry. I wa thinking of something with a trope switch or a happy hacking 2 but they cost a lot!

It's called the game mode and it doesn't help much

The average input lag of the U3011 was a fairly moderate 24.4ms. Maximum ranged up to 30ms in some circumstances. This was a reasonable performance really all in all, being pretty comparabale to the U2711 (30ms). It was also pretty similar, in fact a little faster, than the U2410 which clocked in at 33.8ms when in normal mode. However, the 24" U2410 also provided a game mode which bypassed a lot of internal electronics and did help reduce the input lag significantly down to 14.4ms. This was an added feature of the U2410 specifically aimed at gamers and those sensitive to input lag. You'll also see this on some other models such as the NEC 24WMGX3 where they feature a 'through mode' to do the same thing. The U2711's game mode didn't impact the input lag to any significant degree, and it was the same story from the U3011. The game mode does give you access to the DCR feature, but does not seem to act as any 'through' or bypass mode.

My Bad for Assuming.. i would of thought since the 3008wfp was newer then the 3007, it would be better but i guess i was wrong
