Looking into upgrading my monitors soon, more so for my new gaming rig, but I'm starting to get some eye strain/fatige going on constantly now. I "eventually" want to go with a 'tri' setup and at this rate the prices were practically in different, just curious what the turn around rate or market availability I'd have on these, seems like they discontinue everything to monitors these days in record times. I just wanted to see what the community thought of these, I know the 24" was in CNET 2012 awards. I do like the larger monitors though however.

Alright looks like no one responded to this thread so I shall proceed to hijack it.

I'm in the same boat. I have a Samsung 23" 1080p monitor with 2ms response time but I'm looking to upgrade.

The Dell S2740L and the Dell U2412M. My system is in my sig rig below. I would be able to play at 1200p fine but I'm interested in a 27" monitor as well. Those 2 monitors are both in my price range. Are there any problems with the S2740L? Bleeding?

Thanks

No, get a Crossover 2735AMG or 2755 if you plan on using a console

The 2735AMG is currently the best 60hz Korean 2560x1440 monitor which does not use LED PWM Dimming.

=DEAD='s Review (Russian), use Google or chrome to Translate

If you want to overclock get a Qnix/X-Star, see my sig for the official PLS Club Thread and my review of the Qnix QX2710.

Avoid glass, unless you want a mirror and gray blacks.
