What are you using them for? I'd personally go for the Acer, as I'd love a 120Hz monitor. But if you need the resolution, go for the Dell.

If you want to get some serious stuff, buy 3x 2711 (or even better, 3x 3011) and 4x 3gb 580s. Not that it's useful, but since you're talking about buying 2x 590s, I'd personally waste my money on something better!

In that case I'd definitely recommend the 120s for gaming. With that much GPU power you'll actually be able to run surround in 3D comfortably, which sounds absolutely amazing!
U2711 is an amazing monitor, no doubt. But with just gaming and school work in mind, you're not really going to make use of the features that make it so expensive.
