Hello OCN

I have been looking at ultra-books for uni, i need one that meets these requirements:

- Longer than 6 hour battery life
- HD Screen
- IPS pannel
- Looks good
- i5 or i7
- I dont mind if there is a dedicated graphics chip
- Also don't care about IO
- I am doing a bachelor of software development and a photography course.

Thank you!

Of course it is.

Ideally uni students are looking for responsiveness, Hah, can't have crap load for 30 minutes during a online exam.

If you have the money go for it, you can try to find better deals on the XPS 13 at dell outlet.

You could also look at their developer version. But it comes with Linux instead.

What is your budget?
Is IPS important to you?
What's the screen size?
Does resolution matter to you?
What kind of software development?
What country are you in?

To answer your question, I would suggest ASUS Zenbook Prime. Expensive however it is decent.
Sure you find cheaper ultrabook with similar specs, but I like ASUS Zenbook prime because it look sexy
