Desktop Speakers Showdown advice.

Well,

I currently have Bose Companion 2 Series speakers on my home setup.

I just purchased the Bose Companion 3 Series (170$ employee discount) and am running all the speakers in unison.

Are these better/worse than Klipsch speakers? Does anyone have any recommendations for better speakers, or did I make a good purchase? Just trying to get the most for my money. Thanks all!

No offense, but buying anything from Bose is not getting most from your money, that's because you could have got something better for the price, just my opinion

I purchased a pair of powered monitors for my wife's computer... $60 and they sound better than blose computer speakers.

Well, all the trashing Bose has not really gotten me anywhere. I encourage criticism however, I need advice and suggestions. I feel doubtful about the 60$ speakers being better...but to each his own i guess.

I once heard Bose was the Apple of the speaker/headphones industry. (Meaning they are pretty good but overpriced.)
