ok what difference is there if i use all the eye candy or not ?

so should i leave desktop windows manager service running or disable it ?

what are the advantages of it disabled ?

is there actually any difference with it on or off ?

also mfpmp.exe is being detected as game and pausing my GPU 0 client how do i stop it doing that

You can turn desktop manager off, and turn off the eye candy, but you really wont notice that big of a difference. I notice about 200ppd difference vs on/off. and that is across all 3 items I have folding 2x 460gtx's and a 2500k

Edit : mfpmp.exe should only be popping up when you are playing protected content, IE: paid for mp3s and some HD movies. Restarting your computer and then folding right away should make that go away. You could also edit your config and make it not stop for gaming and then not worry about it all.

ok thanks i edited the config aswell

my rig is also a media server so sometimes it happens all fixed now
