DFI DK X48-TRS overclocking

Hey guys,

I'm currently running a DFI DK X48-TRS mobo, with an intel e5200. I currently have it clocked at 3.625ghz, but was looking to bump it up to 4ghz (hopefully). Every time i go past my current clock speed and restart, I get no signal from my monitor. I have tried different voltage settings etc, but cannot seem to get anywhere. There are alot of different OC settings with this mobo, alot which i do not fully understand. Has anyone got the same mobo who could advise

cheers XD

What does the postcode on the board say when you try and boot 4Ghz? My guess is C1 or 26, but it would help to know.
Not too sure what you mean by post code. Basically if I try and increase the FBS speed over 290mhz (multiplier is @ x12.5), then i get no sync from the monitor after a reboot.

here are screenies of my current bios setup and CPU-Z

Theres a screen on the actual board that shows two numbers or letters on it. When it crashes check to see what the code is.
Ah ok, Just checked it now, it's a C1 error.

Try upping vtt to 1.2 and nb voltage to 1.35 ish. Also get NB gtl's to 0.64. and cpu 0/2 to 0.635
The only options I have for NB GTL voltage are only 0.67x (which it currently sits at) and 0.61X. With CPU GTL 0/2 I have

0.667x (which it default to)
0.646x
0.636x
0.620x

I tried bumping the NB voltage to 1.35m then upping the VTT voltage to 1.2. I then changed the CPU GTL 0/2 to 0.636x. (I didn't touch the NB GTL cause it didn't have a 0.64 option. Changed FBS to 299 x 12.5 multi = 3.735ghz. Once i saved and rebooted, monitored wouldn't sync :<

I got the code 8.8 on my mobo.

Thanks for your help btw

8.8 :S

Ok clear the cmos and set all the settings again or load your the profile from cmoas reload in the bios. Up to 1.25 ish on the vtt and go for 1.4 on vnb. Do you have any settings in the bios along the lines of

DLL and RCOMP Settings
CH1 DRAM Default Skew
CH2 DRAM Default Skew
RCOMP Setting Model

Did you make sure you pressed F9 to get all of the advance settings to show up?
ok cool. Ive reloaded my original cmos profile, and upped the voltages to what you said. Saved and rebooted, then got a C1 error again :<

DLL and RCOMP Settings
CH1 DRAM Default Skew
CH2 DRAM Default Skew
RCOMP Setting Model

bios doesn't have any of those settings. There is no F9 command for additional settings.

All the settings are in the bios screenshots i took here:
