I'm building a new comp and I'm trying to decide between the chaintech socket 939 and the DFI NF3 socket 754. The DFI seems to be a better board, tried and true. Also, I can get a cheaper and faster processor with it plus I can probably use my gig of Kingston valueram with it, which I can't with the picky chaintech. I've heard good things about dfi but I'm not sure how inferior socket 754 is. Another big problem with the chaintech is that the lowest price socket 939 has 1000 mhz fsb while the mobo only supports 800 mhz. If it matters my video card is going to be the eVGA 6800gs. Thanks for the help.

The 754 is still a good system and less expensive.
You will want to watch for the "SSE3" ability to keep as current as possible with a 754.
DFI for the most OCing options

I've heard about that SSE3, where can I check to make sure my parts are compatible and what the hell is it in the first place?
