DFI nF4 Lanparty Help plz--PSU

Hello! As we speak I am installing the PSU which is a Antec Truepower 2.0. I have connected the 24 pin connector to the motherboard.

1. There is a 4 pin 12v connector directly to the left of the board
2. There is a HDD type power slot (5v/12v) that is also there
3. Below the CPU there is a FDD Type (5V/12v) connector also.

Now, I have no idea what to plug into those three slots. I don't even have a 4 pin connector that can be put into #1 on the PSU. Help plz! I read some FAQ's here and there and another post and I can find information that they HAVE to be pluged in, but I don't see anywhere that tells you what needs to be plugged in.

Thanks much!

EDIT: Oh yeh, just to add, I am sure that #2 gets its power after you plug one of the cords from the PSU to the HD then #3 gets power from the same line..with a different connector, but am I going to have to buy a addapter for the 4 pin one or?? I just don't understand why this PSU doesnt have it

1. Is that the 480w PSU? It does not have a 4 pin connector and you will need it. You will not even get support form DFI without the right PSU installed.
2. Use a molex connector (the hdd type)
3. Use a floppy disk connector (only if you are running SLi)

Also, could you fill out your profile so we can better help you?

Here is a good read on DFI nF4 recommended PSUs

DFI's are very picky about PSUs. I would definatly recommending getting a better one.
Actually, I was recomended to get the Antec TP over the OCZ powerstream Lol...but yeh, there is no 4 pin connector on the PSU. There is the 24 pin and all the rest of em are fine, but yeh....and Ill fil ut profile now

Sweet, thats actuallly what I did
Finally a guess that was 100% right WEEEE

Umm, then, I am gonna hit up Comp USA after work to check for a converter. I know there has to be one that fits my needs and I have seen an FAQ that links to the exact PSU that I bought saying that it works, guess I just need to work around it a little bit.

No offence or anything, but should you really be messing about with a DFI board if you dont understand computer hardware basics?

haha, well, interesting story behind that one. I had the Asus 8Ln in my first build but I was told by others on the board to just get the DFI and learn on my way. I don't really think I am that lost. Everything is done in the case except for that last 4 pin on the motherboard. I am stopping buy some comp shops on my way home and should be able to pick up a converter, so I think i'll be fine.

EDIT: Oh yeh, and Xeijin, I might as well start off somewhere. i am not going to go buy a crappy 800$ comp to do my first build on then go and buy the 1600$ later on. I think my understanding of how to put a computer together was rather rusty, however, I have managed to get this far so....

Now that I got it on and everything plugged in, I know that my mobo is fried, DOA, WOOO. Sending it on on the morrow and ordering a new one now
