Hope someone can help! I just installed this MB, and for some reason I can't use memory banks 3 and 4. I'm running exact pairs of kingston 3200 ddr. Either pair works in dimm slots 1 and 2 - but neither pair works in 3 and 4. I get a post error - one long beep over and over if anything is in 3 and 4 slot.
Thanks in advance

The expert is known for being a very picky board...

Try using only 1 stick in the furthest orange DIMM form the CPU to boot into your BIOS and select "load optimized" something, then shut down and try to use all 4 sticks.

The steps above are usually recommended over at DFI-street whenever people have problems with their boards booting up

Hey, thanks man - for that DFI Streets tip, had never heard of that. Im TOTALLY new to this DFI board, as in like 2 hrs. And I did try your tip, but it didnt work. Seems I can only run duals in the orange slots. Tho, both kits do post in the orange slots, so I'm pretty sure the memory is good. IBut, whenever I put the other kit in the yellow slots, no post.
Thanks again man..

You can't use 4 sticks of RAM in the expert, as some RAM only works in the orange banks, and some in the yellow banks. Not to mention that AMD processors don't like 4 sticks of RAM.

That is very odd, have you tried switching the RAM to 2T and seeing if it boots with all 4 sticks?

Yeah, just did - The bios has 3 options for CPC - Auto, Enable, and disable. It says enable forces it to 1T, so I set it to disable with the same results..
