You'll have to do some board juggling, but it'll fit. Just remember you won't be able to use an IO Shield.

Can this heatsink thingy be attached to the board while it is mounted in a case? Like does it fit through the I/O shield and won't cause any problems?

But while i had it. I had remove the stock nb and installed a HR-05 IFX with a 80mm panaflo. Active cooling on the nb made a huge difference. Dropped temps by 20+ degrees
