Difference between these two sound cards.

Hi all,

I was wondering what is the difference between these two cards (except that one is half height). I am using onboard audio, and I just want a noticable increase in audio quality. The two cards look pretty much identical, but one is double the price of the other.

The first one seems to have some few more software features with it and optical connections and support for 5.1, whitch would explaine the price difference.. the one is also PCI-e and other is PCI - and retail and OEM.
Once is PCI, the Other is PCI-E - not to mention the PCI one is OEM.
don't get the xtremeaudio, it is not a true x-fi. Get an xtremegamer or xtrememusic or something.

the difference I see is one is PCI-E and one is PCI, the newer revision is probably PCI-E
Ok thanks for the help - ill have a look at the pricings on xtrememusic.

Edit: For the same price, would an x-fi xtremegamer or an x-fi titanium be better? I normally listen to 320kbps mp3s and play games. I have both headphones and speakers (both crap - but I want to upgrade my speakers soon).

Cheers
get the xtrememusic
