Just curious, but has anyone tried using a digital picture frame as a small monitor. Nothing like movies or anything, but for background programs, Speedfan, Everest or things you dont want cluttering your main screen. I see that some have USB connectivity and even support video playback.

I saw the Samsung, and the Onkyo is too pricey. All I am really trying to do is have a separate display for temps and such.

You'd be very likely to find a better, larger, faster screen at the same price as any of these, especially on the used/refurb market.
