I wouldn't bother with coolant tbh or additives. They typically cost more money and offer little benefit and can even hinder your loops cooling ability. Just cause it has cool its name doesn't mean its any cooler than water.
the newer coolants are great.. i LOOOVE koolance.. NO STAINING, NO CORROSION and NO BACTERIAL growth. i dilute my setup enough to keep the uv red dark enough but as much distilled water as i can before it turns pink. people are probably right baout it affecting it slightly.. SLIGHTLY not enough to keep me from dealing with water additives and worrying about corrosion on my expensive blocks.. koolance has all that stuff pre-added. after about 5 months of 24/7 operation, i changed the coolant and the tubing. nothing was in my micro filter either. so go for it!
