It must blow the cool air onto the heatsink.

right i flipped the fan and now its blowing down i even used artic 5 on me cpu while under the bonnet now im idel at 39 0c not gon on full yet but its droped on the idel ty guys

It could have been 'bouncing', for example, I set my tornado facing down on top of the heatsink to blow onto the sink, and I put my hand over the fan and felt air blowing onto my hand... But it WAS blowing down, so make sure 100% that you have it correct

he means the air was coming back of the heatsink and hiting his hand yeh i checked the arrows on the side of the fan and they are the correct way now maybe some just had a bad day when building it lol
