Hello!

I have a Netcomm NB9WMAXX, its pretty old and doesn't have many options (settings) for my network.

Is it possible to disable everything (nat, dhcp, wifi) whilst keeping the VoIP and modem part of the device working? I would like to do this because I need to purchase a new router.

The only problem is the unit is so basic the only "bridging" option I can find in it is wireless bridging?

Thanks,

Aidan

Hello!

While im not sure about the one you have, my experience with old modem's is that you can't sadly.
Not all newer ones can either for some dumb reason! Perhaps call your internet provider and ask for a new one, say the old one is damaged or something

But in all seriousness, calling your provider and asking for a newer one might be your best bet I would say, you could also ask them if it is possible with your current one, or on a newer model they have in stock!
