I'm having trouble with playback on Disney DVDs and some other newer DVDs on my HTPC. They play fine except for a second and a half pause every couple of minutes. Anyone know the reason for this?

HTPC:
Pentium 4 @ 3GHz
Radeon 9250
1GB RAM

Possibly something taking up lots of resources you should run a video and have task manager on and see whats taking up lots of CPU usage, atleast thats what i've observed in similar cases i've seen personally.

what player are you using?
also what dvd drive are you using?

maybe need more RAM :S im just guessing though. sounds like it might be buffering?
