so im new to wc and i had to tear apart my rad and such so i could paint my case.

so until i can buy my new tubing and coolant,im settling with my old tubing anf distilled water.
i already have a kill coil in my res. jw is there anything else i should know prior?

Nope, distilled + kill coil is all you really need. Any kind of pre-mixed coolant is 100% pointless IMO as they don't perform as well as distilled and will gunk/stain your blocks.

If you must have color I guess you could try dyes, but they will still stain your stuff (and gunk most likely as well).

Mayhems Dyes have a pretty good reputation for not doing damage to your components. Probably the best in the industry right now for dyes and coloring.

You could also add some PT Nuke if you are paranoid.

I'm fairly skeptical of any dye/coolant even if claimed to not break down. No matter what, all dyes will stain blocks given enough time. As for breaking apart, that is not something I claim to have any sort of expertise on so I won't try to act like I know everything. I would just like to see proof that the build up people have is not the dye, but something else. Never seen actual proof.

Distilled water + kill coil is guaranteed safe though and you never have to worry about ruining a very expensive setup.
