Distilled?

Can i use this water in my loop?

It is just standard distilled, but it says that it is designed for batterys:

Yes, but I would recommend a real coolant.
It's just distilled deionized water. It's fine and "real coolant" won't yield any significant gains.

What do you mean by a "real coolant." Distilled water + a biocide is the "best" coolant once could use

The ONLY thing I used to use in my loops, besides PT Nuke.

I think we've all here learned our lesson from using Dyed Coolants.

Technically, pure ammonia has a higher C(v,m) value than water, but ammonia is a much nastier coolant to work with and will cause problems. That why the only truly large scale usage I know of with it is on the space station.

Thanks to everyone for their help, where could i get some of this PT nuke etc. from in the UK, but not off the interweb?

Also can i use highlighter dye in my loop for colour instead of dye bombs etc?
