Do I have Enough Power?

382 Views 7 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Megaman_90
I was thinking of upgrading my CPU to a Phenom X4(125W). With my current setup, is 500W enough power to run it?

Also I need a good cooler recommendation, one that will fit on my M-ATX Mobo.

Thanks in Advance,
Mega

Definitely. I would get a Phenom 2, although I would first make sure that it is compatable with your board.

The Rosewill Stallion 500W usually can do 300w on 12v so you should be fine.

Yeah I think I will get a Phenom II X4, AMD CPUs are cheap anyway getting the best one won't be too much more.
