The one I have right now is a 700W one from some random company that isn't well known. For the specs in my signature, what brand of PSU should I buy and how many watts? I plan on upgrading to a 6870 or 6950 sometime soon though.

A 700W is more than enough to even run 6950's in crossfire with your setup - just get a good brand name such as Antec, Silverstone, Corsair, ect. - you could get away with a quality 500 - 550w psu if you don't plan on going crossfire

Yep 700W would be plenty if you could trust that your PSU could actually output 700W of decently clean power. Suspiciously cheap, off brand PSU's almost always fail to come close to their rated power output, though.

Edit: Also, yeah, a good 400-500+ W would be good enough for all but the highest end single card setups. For reference, what I have doesn't ever draw over 225W.

OCZ has made lots of 700W units. GameXStream, EliteXStream, StealthXStream, StealthXStream II, ModXStream Pro, Fatal1ty. All with 700W versions, and all of different quality levels. Which is yours?

They're all black.

It will have a label. The name will be on that.

You could be running 3 6870s on that and still be fine.

The Stealthxstream II's are pretty good. It'll be fine for upgrades.
