Do I need more power?

So I just ordered some MDPC sleeving kits yummmy and before I start tearing up my psu I was wondering if I need more power for my setup? I haven't really stopped to think about it but I don't have any problems running my setup right now, but then again I'm no power guru.

you are good but if you upgrade i would suggest getting a bigger watt 850+. that is if you end up crossfiring or sli.

I'm already running a crossfire setup. The 5770 are recommended to have i think 600 watts to run?

lol sorry it has hard to read your setup as it crossed over into you graphics card section.

But 750 is generally fine. But i always like to recommend 850+ due to i like to take into account efficiency of a psu and ripples and etc.

If you are really concerned go here

You already got more than enough.
Besides, 5770 has a very low powerconsumption.

Way more than enough.

The HD5770 consumes ~90W at full load.

Your CPU would be lucky to break 160W.

The rest of your system (RAM, HDDs, fans, etc.) will take around 50W.

You're more than fine, you've got 60A/720W on the 12V rail. I'd be comfortable using TriFire with those cards on that power supply, honestly.

You don't really know anything about PSUs, do you... this is a ridiculous suggestion.

You don't really know much either.

The efficiency of a power supply isn't dependant on its wattage, at all. Neither is its ripple.

You are fine , even if you Tri-fire those bad boys

Seriously? a 850+ to Xfire two cards that barely take anything from a pci-e connector?I bet i can even crossfire 2 5770 on my supply.
By your logic an Atom based pc should have a 500W+ PSU , am i right?

kewl you didnt mention me.
does that mean I pass metis test for basic PSU knowledge?

That Thermaltake PSU is plenty for the foreseeable future, it would easily be able to power 3 5770s, possibly a 4th with a low-power CPU, but not with that X4 965
