Picture is too small to see. Don't resize it.
62C sounds about right...what's your ambient temperature?
this is one of those threads where the person knows the answer they just want everyone else to say how good the temps are.

Lol probably. Temps vary so much CPU to CPU anyway..even if they're both the same model.

lol no i'm serious because i had dynex silver paste on there and was at 75C with the same OC... now I'm using AS5 and it dropped dramatically.

Not bad at all, about what I get with my lapped T.R.U.E. on my Core i7 920, but occasional spikes of 68 degrees happen when I am overclocked to 4.02 Ghz with 1.35 Vcore (only with Prime95 or Intel Burn Test).

Both my CPU and T.R.U.E. are lapped and I am using Arctic Cooling MX-2. I just recently bought a water cooling kit, so hoping to get temps down further.

Not bad at all, V-10 is a nice cooler...just big and heavy! Surprised it fits with that Corsair Dominator RAM you have.

Strangely enough, MX-2 is usually rated better than AS-5, but when I used AS-5 my temps seems to be a few degrees lower right off the bat meaning it did not even cure yet. Same OC (20x200) and Vcore/QPI (1.35 each).

Well if they were 75C and now they're 62C, isn't that pretty self explanatory? Temps are fine.

@ ricsim78...by kit i hope you mean at least a swiftech kit.

so is dynex crap for thermal paste? yes it has | | that much clearance literally.
Those aren't high at all , they're actually really low :|

Well, it's a Swiftech kit I purchased off this board but will be customized with a Core i7 CPU block and then I will be upgrading everything, possibly sticking with the Swifty radiator. I got the Swiftech H20 220 Kit with extras, my own CPU block and tubing, clamps, and odds and ends.

kinda high with load

For a Core 2 Duo, they would be kind of high.

For a Core i7 they are borderline awesome temps considering he is overclocked to 4.02 Ghz from stock 2.66!

Core i7's run hot, even with my T.R.U.E. and CPU lapped I still see spikes of near 70's with occasional 71's and 72's. I know people using the same CPU hitting the 80's with a 3.6 OC, so his V-10 is doing a good job.

I would not use anything Dynex, maybe screen cleaners

AS-5 at a minimum, Arctic Cooling MX-2, Tuniq TX, Diamond IC, lots of good ones out there. Some work better with certain cpu/cooler combos than others, but they all are good.

Stay away from the cheap stuff, as you will most likely regret it

What he said.

Those temps are perfectly fine and within spec. Nothing to be worried about.
