I didn't use to, but it seemed really stupid to throw huge plastic jugs into the trashcan when the recycling bin is 2 feet away. I mean, the garbagemen must think I was ******ed (uh, Plastic...that goes in...the bin!)

I only do plastics + newspapers. I really have no idea what the garbagemen do with it. For all I know they throw it in with the rest of the junk. I don't watch them lol.

Lol you should have an option up there that says "I recycle, but I really don't care." It's just a habit to throw plastic stuff in the bin. I don't even think about it anymore.

I do. My city has one of the best recycling programs in the country.

We recycle almost any plastic container, glass, can, or paper/cardboard...

In my room I have a mini recycle bin just for my bottles and cans...

In Los Angeles, or maybe more countys, we have a something as large as a trash bin to throw stuff that is recycleable. I see many people on my street use it.

Part of the reason I still recycle is because when I used to live in CA the stores charged us extra for the bottles, and so if we want our money back we would have to keep the bottle, wash it, and then return it to the store. Its become a habit now and I'm glad I still recycle for the good of nature.

I am a militant recycler. Seriously I hold weekend summer camps on how to recycle more efficiently. I hold them in the mountains where the air is thinner so my students build endurance and learn to recycle in the most demanding situations. Whether recycling under fire or recycling during leisure, I provide them with the skill-base to protect mother-earth during all situations. When I find a piece of trash laying around the base-camp, I find the student responsible and melt a milk carton onto the student's thigh to show him what the f__k is up. Actually, I usually do this to one of the students as soon as they get there to make an example, because I find that there is a direct corellation between recycling performance and terror.

My parents recycle aluminum, plastic and newspaper. And you gotta at least recycle aluminum, not that hard, just bag all your cans and leave them for pickup or haul them to a recycling plant where they usually pay you for bringing it in.

Recycling, how does it cost you? Taxes? You pay for it whether you use it or not.

I am an environmentalist somewhat, I live for the outdoors. Littering/Natural destruction is for noobs...i guess thats what you get when you love biking and stuff...thye just destructed a valley nearby, for the sake of a highway
