There is the Samsung galaxy player. But i can't think of any others.

Archos does. The Archos 43, 32, and 28 should be available at Bestbuy, among other places. They have essentially the same hardware as the iPod Touch 4, only they have resistive touch screens.

Yes, they are around, I'm not sure which ones are good though...

Just for reference, you're probably better buying an older android phone instead of a music player (such as an ipod), they'd be around the same price point and you get phone functionality(as well as extensive dev support if you choose the right phone).
