I really need to know if the Dell Perc 5/i SAS RAID card will work under Windows 7. I cannot find any drivers specific to Windows 7.

Does it make a difference if I flash the card with the LSI firmware?

Yes, the PERC 5/i works under W7... just use Vista drivers.

Just to confirm, using it on Windows 7 64-bit now.

I never even attempted to use the Dell firmware...never had an issue with the LSI firmware.
