1. Yes, I am pretty sure XFX have the double lifetime warranty.
2. No, they do not currently have a step-up program.
3. If you can afford it with no drawbacks, then I'd say get the XXX version. There is a higher chance of it being able to reach higher clock speeds. It's not a guarentee, however it's something to go on. It all depends on how much more the XXX version is?
