don't understand!

I am having a problem with my memory. my fsb was set at 270x9 htx4 which put my mem at ddr540. It ran memtest for 6 hrs with no problems. Then i ran memtest again about a month later and it showed errors at the end of test 5. I was going to attempt to get lower timings, but this just ruined that idea. can anyone help?

does this mean that i've hit my peak. if thats so then i am disappointed with this memory.

It's not really that. Your HT bus is way over 1000. Dropping your HT to 3 will get it under 1000 again and hopefully get you some stability.

Don't feel too bad at least your ram can get 270, I can't break 260 with mine... I had really hoped for a little bit more than 260...

with my 1gb dual channel ocz el platinum i got 295. maybe i should have stuck with 2gb of ocz.
